Why is my payslip slightly different?
Payroll calculates tax cumulatively through the year using your tax credit certificate. The app gives an annual estimate assuming the same pay every week, so individual payslips can differ by small amounts. PRSI rates also change on 1 October each year.
What does "provisional" mean?
Figures announced in a Budget become law only when the Finance Act is passed, usually in December. Until then the app marks that year as provisional. We update the app if anything changes.
Which tax years are covered?
The current tax year and the year announced in the latest Budget. Each October we add the new Budget's figures.
Does the app collect my data?
No. Everything you enter stays on your device. See the Privacy Policy.
Is this the official Revenue calculator?
No. The app is independent and not affiliated with Revenue or the Government of Ireland. Each explanation links to the official pages on revenue.ie, citizensinformation.ie and gov.ie.
